Happy Friday everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…
Today’s read is about 5-7 minutes. Post read pondering not included. With an election this weekend here in WA, warp drive travel may be appealing…
I thought I’d share this because it demonstrates not necessarily what “is”, but what could be. A hundred years ago people could not even imagine what we use now as common everyday items. Fifty years ago they were imaginary –think James Bond or Buck Rodgers (google him, kids) using a wrist phone. Now my teenage daughter leaves one laying on the bedroom floor as nonchalantly as I used to leave sneakers.
So while intergalactic travel is still fantasy for now, there are people working on it as we speak, and soon there may be just another destination to tick off your bucket list… post – Covid-19 of course.
Last week’s riddle question and answer; The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I? Footsteps was the official answer but one respondent suggested time as an alternative… now that had me reflecting!
This week’s riddle is; Sometimes I am born in silence, other times, no. I am unseen, but I make my presence known. In time, I fade without a trace. I harm no one, but I am unpopular with most. What am I?
Did you know? Should you ever want to look back on old versions of these, you can find them here https://www.illuminategroup.com.au/category/blog/
Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
