Happy Friday everyone. And especially for my accountant readers, Happy New FY! Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…
Today’s read is about 4-5 minutes. Post read pondering not included. Here in WA we are (hopefully) coming to the end of a lockdown. I was thinking about how different people deal with the isolation, or lack of it, depending on our personal situations. As someone who regularly journals, this article resonated with me. Mainly because no matter how much you do something, there is always something different you can try. I like the idea of a different perspective taken by trying the three types of writing. I generally use the reflective method, and will mix things up a bit by trying the other two.
In conversation with a client this week (via zoom) I reminded them of our Thinking Self and Observing Self. Journaling is a great way to connect more with your observing self, and enhance your self-awareness.
Last week’s riddle question and answer; I am black when you get me, red when you use me and white when you’re finished with me. What am I? Many of you got it – Charcoal or coal.
This week’s riddle is; How many times does the letter S appear in the longest river in the world?
Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
