Friday Reflections 2308
Aug 23, 2024Happy Friday everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…
Today’s read is about 3-4 minutes. Post-read pondering not included. Shorter this week - making up for last week’s monster. I’m lucky to be a part of some other people’s projects at the moment, and this trait is evident in their way of working. Yes, the quote is 30 years ago, yes it’s a What to do not a How to do it article. The how is personal, I believe, in this case, you have to find what works for you. What can help is being around other people who are passionate and persevere with their own projects, their enthusiasm is contagious, and their experiences can be learning for us. Do the people around you give or take energy from you?
Last week’s riddle question and answer; A man pushes his car until he reaches a hotel. When he arrives, he discovers he is bankrupt. What happened? He was playing Monopoly! (I love it when people work these out together, even when they are on the East Coast).
This week’s riddle is; A man is condemned to death. He has to choose from three rooms to accept his punishment. The first room has a firing squad with guns loaded. The second room has a guillotine and executioner. The third room is full of tigers that haven’t eaten for six months. Which room should he choose?
Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
