Dangerous Goods Bulk Driver Course
As of the 28th of October 2013 the Dangerous Goods Bulk Driver Refresher Course and the Dangerous Goods Classes 3 9 Course are obsolete. All participants wishing to refresh their license are now required to complete the 2 day Bulk Dangerous Goods Driver's course.
The dangerous goods driver licence course will cover the following content:
- Transport procedures
Fire-Fighting equipment training
Placarding of containers and vehicles
Statutory Requirements/ Responsibilities
Placard all Units and package loads
Classification and Packing of Dangerous Goods
The HAZCHEM Code
Stowage and segregation
Upon successful completion, participants will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency:
- TLILIC0001 - Licence to transport dangerous goods by road
Students must complete an online application with the Department of Mines and Petroleum in order to apply for a New or Renew their Dangerous Goods Driver Licence. Registration must occur within 6 months of the date of attending training.
