Friday Reflections 1110

Happy Friday everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…

Today’s read is about 6-8 minutes. Post-read pondering not included. Years ago I had a neurodivergent trainee working in a supermarket. I would visit him monthly and work through the units for his qualification. Initially his manager was either disinterested or sometimes slightly frustrated with this person. We found that while they may not have been suited to some direct customer service roles, the one thing they were brilliant at was date coding and stock rotation (something most staff couldn’t be bothered with doing). This trainee reduced perishable shrinkage by thousands of dollars every month, more than compensating for their wages as well as preventing food waste from going to landfill. Everyone has a niche.

Last week’s riddle question and answer; Found in socks, scarves and mittens and sometimes the paws of playful kittens…what am I? yes, well done to quite a few of you. Wool or Yarn was correct.

This week’s riddle is;  What begins with T, ends with T, and has T in it?

Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
