Friday Reflections 1201

Happy New Year everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…

Today’s read is about 3-4 minutes. Post-read pondering not included. At the end of each year, some organisations release their “word of the year”. It differs, of course, but one that I enjoyed was the word Authentic. I am also proposing a word for 2024 already – Intentional.

Devices, apps, food, binging television -whatever, can all invade our lives if we let it. Often because we’re not thinking about the choices we are making or the alternatives we have. I’m not saying don’t do it, only to be intentional and accept the responsibility of that choice. Tools that augment our ability to be more productive are only that – tools. How we use them is up to us.

Last week’s riddle question and answer; A bald man got a gift from Santa and proclaimed, “I’ll never part with it.” What was the gift? A comb…

This week’s riddle is;  Two girls have the same parents and were born at the same hour on the same day of the same month, but they are not twins. How can this be possible?

Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
