I shared about empathy a few weeks ago, think of this as a supplement. It’s a great way to increase your own self and social awareness; being able to identify and allocate various feelings to yourself and others, instead of it being one big swirling mass of “stuff”. Like all skills, it can be difficult to begin with and take active practice to improve. The results are worth it – greater clarity, more ability to assist people you care for, and something lacking in our modern world, tranquillity.
