Friday Reflections 3103

Mar 31, 2023

Happy Friday everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…

Today’s read is about 3-5 minutes. Post read pondering not included. It’s been a heavy week for me, so maybe that’s why I’ve chosen a lighter subject to share. Some of these points I found myself agreeing with more than others – telling me that I might need to reflect on if I still have these in my vocabulary. I still have room for improvement. How do these make you feel?

Last week’s riddle question and answer; Old Bob was a miser, who never spent his money. His last will and testament stated that he wished to be cremated with the proceeds of his estate. He did not wish to give his money to his relatives. His relatives contested the will on the grounds Bob was not sane when he made the will. A judge ruled that he was, and the will should be followed. The judge did, however, find a way to comply with Bob’s wishes and please the relatives. How?

A few good guesses, not far from the answer. The Judge shared the inheritance with the relatives, and they each issued Bob with a money order to retrieve the money. If he didn’t claim on the Money order in 12 months, they could keep the money.

This week’s riddle is;  Brother Simon was a monk of an order that no longer exists. He does, however, have a new job entertaining tourists at the monastery. After tourists are shown into his old room, the doors are locked with Simon and all the tourists inside. There is a small window that is too small to get through, but Brother Simon manages to get out, leaving the tourists every time. How?

Did you know? Should you ever want to look back on old versions of these, you can find them here https://www.illuminategroup.com.au/category/blog/

Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
