Friday Reflections 0602

Happy Friday everyone. Here’s something to reflect on over the weekend perhaps…

Today’s read is about 6-8 minutes. Post-read pondering not included. (The article says 12mins read, but you don’t have to read the “infomercial” final third). A touchy subject for some. Do we match people to roles and tasks, or is it a case of “suck it up and get on with it”? I used to think the latter, but I can see how a strengths-based approach, curated well, can add massive value. Often, we might have people in the team who are the wrong fit, so the strength based approach might not always work. I guess that will take strong leadership to rectify. Do you think it is worth the effort?

Last week’s riddle and answer; I am a chain with many links, but I am not made of metal. What am I? an email thread

This week’s riddle is;  What is easy to lift but hard to throw?

Did you know? Should you ever want to look back on old versions of these, you can find them here https://www.illuminategroup.com.au/blog

Time for a moment to reflect, I think.
